Inventing Opportunities. Validating Possibilities.

Who we are

Our team is grounded either in managing businesses and innovations across the globe at C-level, or in seriously distinguished academia. Instinctively therefore, we’d rather be part of ‘doing’ than just advising. Above all, we do seek assignments that do provide us with some ‘hard fun’.

Prof. Dan Mc Fadden’s Nobel Prize winning work on Customer Choice Modelling was a strong entrepreneurial reason for assembling a ‘portfolio of minds’ into a new company called MindFolio. As corporate managers we were forever faced with anodyne research output, so experiencing the crunchiness of choice modelling was both a revelation and inspiration.

We have come to believe that combining the result-driven managerial mind-set with the versatility and open-mindedness of consulting is as good a starting point for developing solutions as any.

MindFolio is a full member of ULI and ICSC and maintains a strong link to Cornell University, the Ivy League institution in upstate New York. Karl Kalcher serves on the Advisory Board for its newest academic college, The Institute for Healthy Futures.
